Leader Ship Day

Last Thursday the year 7s and the prefects went to Spencer park for leader ship day.

The prefects came to run some of the courses and to help decide who the next prefects will be. The prefects got into pairs and got to chose what course you would like to do.  I was with Reka doing the red spider web.  It was really fun choosing who was encouraging others and helping there teammates.  In every group there were 6 people so we split them into groups of 3. Then they had to link arms and go from one side to the other. After lunch we played volleyball it was really fun and we won. After volleyball the year 7s had to do a speech about what they learned and what they want to become in 2021.

This was a really fun experience and I liked seeing who was helping the other and figuring out different ways to get across.

It was really fun and I wish I could do it next year.

What was you favorite part of leader ship day? Did you find someone that would be a great role module for 2021?

  3. Hello Micki,
Looks like you really enjoyed yourself. Also, nice photos. Do you have any idea of who would be a good leader before the leadership day, and did it change after this activity filled day? Lastly, what did you enjoy the most from that day?
    Have a good day

There was a lot of people who were doing really good so I couldnt chose.
The thing I enjoyed most was watching the year 7s help each other. I also liked playing volley ball.

  4. Kia ora Micki,
I like how you have written a detailed blurb of what you did and why you liked the Leadership day.
When you go to high school next year, will you be sad to go, or are you happy for a new experience at a different school?
I liked doing the activities at Leadership day that the Prefects organised.
Next time, you could try adding a question to the blurb to engage your audience.
    Thanks for sharing your experience.
