Definition and Synonyms.


These are my definitions and synonyms for my reading activity I got the words out of the book we are reading its called the thief lord.


Definitions.


Squinting - look at someone or something with one or both eyes partly closed.


Stroking- Moves one hand with gentle pressure over a surface.


Anxiety - A feeling of worry and nervousness.


Detective - A person who is to investigate and solve
crimes.


Inspected - look at someone or something closely.
Synonyms.


Impressed - Inspire
Expensive - Dear
Worried - Upset
Steal - Take

Crowded - Packed

  3. Hello Micki,
    I love the definitions you put for each word, it shows quite clearly of what the word means. How long did it take you to do it? Maybe you could add some sentences or picture to give us a better image of the word.
    Also, just wondering, what was suppose to be at the end of 'squinting'? It got cut off and I can't see the rest of the meaning. But anyways, it is amazing.

      Thanks for the positive comment. It took me about 1 reading session to make. Next time i will add some pictures to give you a better image of the word.
      At the and of Squinting it was supposed to be to look at someone or something with one or both eyes partly closed.

    This is amazing because you showed us what's the meaning of all of these words.I really like how you explained where you got those words from. Maybe next time you add some pictures below the words so that we can get the picture you're saying.
